Parada San Juan Bautista Gets $3,500 Donation

Deptford, NJ – (June 18, 2010) – Enterprise Car Sales’ Philadelphia Group this week extended their hand in generosity, presenting a $3,500 donation from the Enterprise Foundation to the Camden-based Parada San Juan Bautista.

The check was presented at Sough Jersey Federal Credit Union’s Deptford headquarters office. SFJCU is also a major supporter of Parada San Juan Bautista. The Enterprise Foundation has supported Parada San Juan Bautista and its varied events for several years. This year, the Enterprise Foundation increased its support by 40 percent over last year’s donation.

The non-profit Parada organization, now in its 53rd year, holds its signature parade event – celebrating the local Puerto Rican community – in Camden on the last Sunday in June. Two months of related activities – scholarship awards, a coronation pageant and a senior citizen luncheon – lead up to the big parade.
