SJFCU Donates $1,000 to Greater Delaware Valley chapter
Deptford, NJ – (April 20, 2010) – In anticipation of this year’s Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Walk at Washington Lake Park, South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) donated $1,000 to the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS Society. This year’s walk is set for Sunday, April 25. Once again, SJFCU will field a walking team called “Cate’s Cruisers,” captained by Cate Anderson, an SJFCU member service representative. Anderson, diagnosed with MS 12 years ago, continues to work at the Deptford branch office. Cate Anderson, at left, and Ben Griffith, at right, present SJFCU’s $1,000 donation for the 2010 MS Walk to Katie Bolton, development coordinator at the Greater Delaware Valley Money raised through events such as the MS Walk make it possible for the MS Society to support research into the cause, cure and prevention of the disease, along with providing programs and services to more than 11,000 area residents
