SJFCU Celebrates Its 70th Anniversary Year Deptford, NJ – (March 31, 2010) -- At South Jersey Federal Credit Union, we’re celebrating in 2010. This is a red-letter year for SJFCU, as we mark our 70th anniversary. It was on June 20, 1940 that the organization we now call South Jersey Federal Credit Union was chartered and established, serving the employees of the former New York Shipbuilding Corporation.
Today, South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) has more than 400 employee groups and serves more than 40,000 members throughout South Jersey. From its original roots in Camden County, the credit union has expanded its presence all the way to the Jersey Shore. Six full-service locations include the main office in Deptford, along with branches in the City of Camden, Voorhees Township, and in Moorestown, Vineland and Pleasantville. Now and in the months to come, SJFCU is celebrating this anniversary year in ways large and small, inside our facilities and outside in the larger world, with special events geared to both members and employees.
2010 – A Landmark Year for SJFCU!
