Scholarships to Seven High School Graduates

Deptford, NJ – (June 24, 2009) – South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) awarded scholarships to seven South Jersey graduating high school seniors for the 2009-2010 academic year at their chosen colleges and universities.

The recipients, their hometowns and high schools, the college/university they plan to attend, listed by their scholarship amount, are:

Winners of the scholarships were selected on the basis of high school academic performance, teacher references, extracurricular and community involvement, and an essay.

Earlier this month, scholarship winners gathered at SJFCU’s main office in Deptford to receive their awards and commemorative certificates from Benjamin T. Griffith, SJFCU president and CEO.
