South Jersey Federal Credit Union Awards
Scholarships to Seven High School Graduates

Deptford, NJ – (June 24, 2009) – South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) awarded scholarships to seven South Jersey graduating high school seniors for the 2009-2010 academic year at their chosen colleges and universities.

The recipients, their hometowns and high schools, the college/university they plan to attend, listed by their scholarship amount, are:

$1,000 Scholarship Winners:

Jennifer Beers	Voorhees	Eastern Regional	Stevens Institute of Technology
William Waters	Little Egg Harbor	Pinelands Regional	University of Maryland

$500 Scholarship Winners:

Deborah Dunn	Brigantine	Atlantic City	Rowan University
Emily O’Malley	Mullica Hill	Kingsway Regional	Arizona State University

$250 Scholarship Winners:

Alyssa Atkisson	Egg Harbor Twp.	Our Lady of Mercy Academy	St. Joseph’s University
John Boswell	Cherry Hill	Cherry Hill West	American University
Tyler Migliaccio	Blackwood	Triton Regional	The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey

Winners of the scholarships were selected on the basis of high school academic performance, teacher references, extracurricular and community involvement, and an essay.

Earlier this month, scholarship winners gathered at SJFCU’s main office in Deptford to receive their awards and commemorative certificates from Benjamin T. Griffith, SJFCU president and CEO.
