South Jersey Federal Credit Union holds Moorestown, NJ – (May 12, 2009) – South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) welcomed local officials and other guests to the grand opening of its new Moorestown branch, with a reception and ribbon-cutting ceremony in the branch lobby. The Moorestown branch – the first SJFCU branch in Burlington County – is located at 120l North Church Street, at the intersection of Church Street and New Albany Road.
At the ceremonial ribbon-cutting at the official celebration of SJFCU’s Moorestown branch grand opening are, front row, from left: Gladys Kamihira, SJFCU board secretary; Benjamin T. Griffith, SJFCU president/CEO; Daniel Roccato, mayor of Moorestown; Jason Henckel, Moorestown branch manager; Kristi Howell-Ikeda, president of Burlington County Chamber of Commerce; Jim Puderbach, SJFCU board chairman; back row, from left, Ben Calaf Jr., SJFCU board member; Jacob Der Hagopian, Chairman of Moorestown’s Economic Development Advisory Committee; Bea Cerkez and Michael McKiernan, SJFCU board members; Lucien Janik, SJFCU board vice chairman; and Kenneth Luehmann, SJFCU board member.
The new Moorestown branch has a unique interior design, similar to the SJFCU branch in Voorhees which opened two years ago. This interior design eliminates the traditional “teller wall” and instead features “pods” which facilitate open communication between members and SJFCU member service representatives. The interior also features a mortgage center, an investment center and numerous LCD multi-media information screens which contain updated information on SJFCU products and services. The Moorestown office is a spacious 3,300 square feet with ample parking facilities and four drive-thru lanes.
