SJFCU ‘Builds on Success – One Block at a Time’ for Holiday Festival of Lights at Camden Children’s Garden Camden, NJ – (December 3, 2009) – Employee volunteers of South Jersey Federal Credit Union took their creative skills and decorating expertise to the Camden Children’s Garden, as they decorated a holiday evergreen tree in the main plaza. The Garden tree decorating is done by various firms and organizations, including SJFCU, which are sponsors of the Festival of Lights. The tree decorating was completed as part of kick-off activities of the Festival, just prior to the event’s opening to the public. Colorful ornaments made of children’s play blocks, along with miniature saws and hammers, and a tree topper also made of building blocks, illustrate the tree's theme, “Building on Success: One Block at a Time.” Chosen for its appeal to kids visiting the Festival, the theme also ties in with this year’s opening of SJFCU’s new Corporate Center in Deptford.
Pictured are SJFCU employees (and relatives) who volunteered at the tree decorating, standing in front of their finished creation. The Holiday Festival of Lights is open to the public every Friday and Saturday evening (with the exception of December 25 and January 1) through January 2, 2010 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. For more information, call the Camden Children's Garden at 856-365-8733.
