SJFCU Launches Visa Gift Card Program for Members

Deptford, NJ – (November 26, 2008) – Just in time for the holiday season, South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) kicks off its first Visa Gift Card program for its members.

According to the National Retail Federation, gift cards will be this year’s most requested holiday present. The NRF’s 2008 Holiday Consumer Intentions and Actions Survey, conducted by BIGresearch, reports that 54.9 percent of consumers hope to receive a gift card this holiday season.

The SJFCU Visa Gift Card is bound to become a favorite among members, as it can be used at millions of retail locations which accept Visa Debit Cards. The convenience, security and flexibility of an SJFCU Visa Gift Card all combine for a gift that fits every budget and is appreciated by every recipient.

The Visa Gift Cards are available at each of SJFCU’s six branches in South Jersey. Members can visit any branch and purchase a gift card (or two, or more) in amounts from $10 up to $500 each. Not only can members choose the dollar amount to be loaded onto the gift card, they can also choose the design. Two festive holiday motifs are available, as well as a design for birthdays, one to welcome babies, and an all-occasion design.

Each SJFCU Gift Card purchased costs only $2.95. Members can pay either from their SJFCU account or by using their SJFCU Visa credit card. There will be a $5 cost to replace a lost or stolen Gift Card, and a $2.95 monthly maintenance fee begins seven months after purchase, regardless of activity.
