South Jersey Federal Credit Union Donates
Camden, NJ – (May 27, 2008) -- Benjamin T. Griffith, president/CEO of South Jersey Federal Credit Union, recently presented a check for $75,000 to the Parada San Juan Bautista, Inc., designated for the Camden-based organization’s scholarship fund. SJFCU has been a long-time supporter of Parada San Juan Bautista’s scholarship program, which annually awards four scholarships to Camden students of Puerto Rican heritage: two awards for $4,000 and two awards for $2,000, payable over four years. The Parada San Juan Bautista, Inc., scholarship program began in 1982. The generous SJFCU donation is a long-term commitment, and will fund the scholarship program with $7,500 per year over 10 years.
