New Voorhees branch of
South Jersey Federal Credit Union scheduled to open in spring

Voorhees, NJ – (February 5, 2007) -- Interior retrofitting and remodeling continue at the site of the sixth and newest full-service branch of South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU), scheduled to open this spring in the Eagle Plaza, at 700 Haddonfield-Berlin Road, Voorhees Township .

The Voorhees full-service office will be SJFCU's sixth branch office and its second branch within Camden County. The credit union's headquarters office is in Deptford, Gloucester County, and other branches are in the City of Camden; in Vineland, Cumberland County; and in Pleasantville and Egg Harbor Township in Atlantic County.

The retail-oriented interior, designed by the design/build firm, NewGround of St. Louis, Mo., features numerous multi-media LCD screens containing information on SJFCU products and services, a menu board of member options and separate centers for one-on-one conferences on mortgages and investment options . Member service representatives will be proactive in greeting and interacting with members, as the traditional teller “wall” has been eliminated in the design. Instead, members will be directed to “pod” stations to talk with member service representatives about all their financial needs.

Checking out the blueprints at the Voorhees site are, from left, Benjamin T. Griffith , SJFCU president and CEO; Dave Miller , Voorhees job site superintendent; and Donna Wilmerton , SJFCU senior vice president-operations.

South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU), headquartered in Deptford, New Jersey, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and governed by more than 40,000 members. SJFCU presently has five conveniently located branches in Gloucester, Camden, Atlantic and Cumberland counties. For more information, visit www.SouthJerseyFCU.com.
