SJFCU sponsors 'Halloween in the Park' in Voorhees Township

Voorhees, NJ – (October 22, 2007) – Employee volunteers of South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) will be participating in the activities of Voorhees Township's second annual “Halloween in the Park” on Sunday, October 28 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.. The family event will be held at Lions Lake Park on Dutchtown Road, just off of Route 73.

South Jersey Federal Credit Union is one of the sponsors of this year's event, which drew more than 1,500 people last year in its inaugural presentation. SJFCU has a branch in Voorhees, which opened in spring 2007, at Eagle Plaza on Haddonfield-Berlin Road.

SJFCU volunteers will hand out cotton candy to attendees, and also will raffle off a “kid-themed” Halloween gift basket. The afternoon's attractions also include pumpkin decorating, balloon artists, a costume parade, a magic show, hayrides, face painting and treats for the kids. The Voorhees Police Department will issue Kids ID cards and provide Halloween safety demonstrations.
