Your deposits here at South Jersey Federal Credit Union are now insured up to $500,000.
This exceptional level of coverage is attained through a combination of:

• federal insurance provided by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) and
• private insurance made available to SJFCU members by the Excess Share Insurance (ESI) Corporation.

A provision of the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009 has extended the increase in credit union deposit insurance limits through December 31, 2013. Federal deposit insurance for both credit unions and banks was first increased to $250,000 as a provision of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008.
